We had an oil painting that was thought to be a work by Peter Paul Rubens. We contacted Sally to appraise our collection and research the painting. She contacted a specialist in Old Masters at Sotheby’s to start the authentication process. Although it took some time, it was determined that the painting was executed by a follower of Rubens. Sally provided excellent service and expertise when it came time to have out large outdoor sculpture appraised for insurance coverage. Her knowledge and enthusiasm combined with excellent and timely communication were very much appreciated. Our sculpture was at the center of a large outdoor fountain. Without hesitation, Sally pulled on her rubber boots and waded through the water to take photographs of the artist’s signature at the base of the sculpture. She came prepared!
